Baby Portraits 1 April 21, 2009

This is my very first baby portrait session. Little Henry was three months old at the time. His parents dressed him in this cute pastel outfit. I took this portrait on a white background and then added the letter background in photoshop. His skin was still kind of pale and splotchy, so I touched it up as well.

This portrait session lasted only two minutes before he started to get upset, but I think this picture was well worth it. His parents loved it, and sent it to family across the states.

Babies are kind of a challenge but the end result is always worth the effort put into the session.

Senior Portraits Session 2 April 21, 2009

This portrait was taken on a very warm, sunny winter day, as you can tell by the snow under his feet. The bright sun made for extreme color in the portrait, and some retouching had to be done in order to get rid of harsh shadows. It turned out quite well!

It was hard to get the dogs attention through out the shoot, so I enlisted the help of his mom. She stood beside or behind me most of the time, calling the pup, to get him to somewhat look in my direction.

This was another exciting photo shoot for senior portraits. I enjoy so much working with that age group!
